This is a redubb of a popular clip from the Japanese cartoon show Doraemon, presented in two Tani languages: Galo and Mising. Doraemon is a beloved children’s show from Japan. In this particular clip, the character Nobita goes to Shizuka’s house, expressing that he hasn’t seen her in a long time. Shizuka, puzzled, asks who he is. Nobita introduces himself and claims to be her best friend. However, Shizuka responds that she doesn’t know anyone named Nobita, leaving Nobita bewildered and exclaiming, “Oh my god.” This redub by the Tani Language Foundation aims to bring popular content to Tani-speaking audiences, promoting linguistic and cultural inclusivity.
