Hako ha Gei ukelhou kepetha pete teikhrie kemhie tuo zowe.

Rügerühou chülie, Terhiterha chülie, Ü tsali zo kelilie

Kedakeduo lie mota rei puo nu thehie chülie;

Keviu uya, Keviu pfhülie, Kesuou therielie

Mitu kemhie U dze keyielie, U keneitei pebalie

Mekhomenuolie, michie kecüu whuowalie

Ukelhou se bouthuobouruo chütahie

mu kekuo keyho-u chülie nu di 

A tahitarhoya kezha,

Achie avü Ala keviu le pekuo

Abu tuo volie, athuo chülie, a kenei tei rei balie

Achie avü’ Dievi hako bu a cha tha.

Dietho diemvü hako metei mu mecü,

Achie avü pfhe rünyü kevi hako aze situo yawe.

My Grandparents (Words of Wisdom)

Grandmother said,  “Arise with the sun work as much as you play hard”

Grandfather said, “listen, instill lest it earns you respect”

Now, at your best! Not when you glow old.

Deep in the forest, rivers and trees accompanying life lesson like thin air that breathes.

so hunt, and weave, write and sing them.

These are the things to keep within 

You don’t need to be the best in everything 

but do your best in one.

overcome the evil by seeking goodness.

May our lores spread like wild forest fires,

enjoyment wrapped with dignity, a modest life

rebuke the fear around and may our life never reflect an empty vessel.

for greatness is ours to reach.
