This poem is about the beauty of the nature and the picturesque nature of Jaintia Hills
District. It talks about the beautiful spots, waterfalls, caves, rivers, hills with serene and
scenic beauty. It is a place blessed by our Creator, he has created mesmerizing and dreamy
places which can melt our hearts. The poem mentioned some of the names of the magic
beauties of the spots and invite tourist and people from far and near to visit these places
because describing them in words will never serve justice to their beauty.
The monoliths of Nartiang, Thadlaskein lake, Sunaraja hill (Royal tomb) of the Jaintia Kings,
has a tale which is carried on from generations to generations, with an essence of beauty,
strength and culture. The rest of the places also mentioned are scenic beauties which are
beyond compared. Once seen, when headed back home, the extraordinary experience will
never be forgotten.
