This narration is about the way of life of our forefathers before Christianity came to my village and also about how they celebrated the Moatsü (Ao tribe) festival by drinking rice brew and smoking. This was the way of living before Christianity was arrived in the village. She also tells about the life she had experienced when she was a young girl and how she struggled during the time when the Indian army came to the Ao(Naga)Hills in the late 1940’s and 50’s. They tortured the villagers and had burnt all their houses and properties. They were sent to the neighbouring village in Mopungchuket and kept the villagers under their control. She explains that the Indian army gave them several punishment in all the little things they(the villagers)did. In December 1956 she went back to her village and again in the late 1950’s the Indians come back to torture them. This is how she and the villagers was tortured and were struggling under the control of the Indian army.
