Description: Longkongla who loves the land and its spirits, rather then a human. A hunter named Aokhe tries to win her ove by using mountain spirits. In her anger and despair, Longkongla invokes the spirit to transform her livestock and even her pigs into wild boars, cows into sambars and hens into wild hens. Later in the story, she falls from a cliff, impaling herself on a Cabo Sunsungdong tree, also known as a parasol leaf tree. Also, the red gel-like substance found inside the tree’s trunk is believed to be Longkongla’s blood, symbolizing the connection between her and nature.
