He work from dawn until dusk, yet they never showed him an ounce of kindness. At mealtimes, he was given nothing but leftover scraps and bones while the family feasted.One day, his anger and sadness overwhelmed him. As he worked he started singing sohe, sohe, sohe, which meant I work day and night, yet I am given nothing but misery. As he sang, a miraculous transformation took place he turned into a bird and flew away. When the family realized he was missing, they searched for him. At dawn, they heard a familiar birdsong from a nearby tree singing sohe, sohe, sohe.Listening to they they realized that their mistreatment had turn the boy into a bird.
